Cookie policy
In short: we keep one anonymous id so we can count how a visit goes. We run no advertising, share nothing with third parties, and build no profile of you. You can refuse, and change your mind at any time.
What we ask permission for
Two things, and neither of them runs until you accept. If you decline, or simply never answer, nothing below is stored and nothing is sent.
- zeloric_ab_session and zeloric_ab_variant, kept in your browser’s local storage. A random id with no name, no email and no account attached, plus which version of a page you were shown. It lets us see that one visit went from the home page to a ticket, rather than two unrelated visits. Kept until you decline or clear your browser.
- Page views, counted by Vercel Analytics. Which page, where you arrived from, no cookie and no id. The script is served from this site’s own address.
What runs either way
These are what the site needs to work or to honour your own choices. They identify nobody and are not used for analytics.
- zeloric_consent — your answer to the question above. Storing it is the only way to stop asking.
- Sign-in — if you have an account, a session cookie keeps you signed in. It goes when you sign out.
- zeloric-theme and the readiness check’s progress — your display preference, and where you had got to. The second is cleared when you close the tab.
- Page speed — how quickly pages loaded for real visitors, with no cookie and no identifier. It is how we know the site is fast on a phone, and it measures the software rather than the person.
What we do not do
- No advertising or retargeting pixels. No Meta, Google Ads, TikTok or Snap tags.
- No session recording. Nothing replays your mouse, your typing or your screen.
- No selling or sharing of personal information, and no third-party analytics account that could join you up across other sites.
- No profile. The id above is not linked to your name or email unless you create an account, and it is never used to decide anything about you.
Changing your mind
Use to be asked again. Declining also deletes the two ids above from this browser, so withdrawing means what it says rather than only stopping new collection.
Your browser can block or clear storage for this site at any time, and the site keeps working if you do. Questions go to our contact page, and our Privacy Policy covers everything else we hold.
